Somehow it listed me as a criminal defense lawyer in the previous post I'm not a criminal defense lawyer I'm the victim in the case my name is Loretta zeiler and I matter you judge Stansfield executed several of the expartes and several of the protection from abuse orders and you let this man walk knowing his history of domestic violence.. I wonder what the sentence would have been hide your daughter or your granddaughter and the victim in this case

I've officially heard it all!
Apparently, even though he had three and a half years to serve on violation plus anytime they would have given him for fleeing and eluding ontop of added time for violating probation,Judge Stansfield seemed to think that it didn't serve any purpose for me ex-husband to finish the last three and a half years of his sentence, as well as no repercussions for violation of probation or for fleeing and eluding.
A twenty year history of domestic violence, ten years of habitual violation of probation, fleeing & eluding, not to mention close to $80,000 in arrears in child support and the judge sees no reason for him to finish his sentence....
What a joke!!!
Thank you sir you have just set a precedent for any man to beat his wife have multiple protection from abuse orders multiple expartes multiple violation of parole charges flee and elude and be gone for 10 years and come back and use this case as part of their defense... bravo! Maybe you can tell my children that they weren't worth protecting! You literally took from them the chance to be able to prosecute their father for past due child support you let this man walk with no regard to the mental impact it would have on this family. He walks free...my home is now my prison... thank you Judge Stansfield!

May 2019: Opposing attorney lied- he did not care
Her entire case was built on my daughter being in Germany. My daughter was on a temporary student visa in Austria. Just to clarify that are 2 separate countries!

November 2019: Even though there was no contempt and everything was done he ordered to pay attorney fees for opposing party. Including fees that her client hired her for and that where not about tasks related to “noncontempt”

Thank you Judge Stanfield, for waiving the 48 hour waiting period for a wedding. The rush was due to the emirate death of the bride's grandfather .
He died the day after the wedding that was held in the hospital room. Very much appreciated.

Once again, the Carroll County Judicial System has failed. Christopher Trinity Hill had his $500 fine for killing a person; driving a stolen car; in possession of drugs & alcohol; driving excessive speed; running a red light and numerous other charges. This judge needs to be removed. Get him out of office! The people voted Jerry Barnes out and we can kick this judges' sorry ass out too. Come on people of Carroll County, let's clean house and get rid of what is wrong. Let's get all of those "good old boys (& the women too)" out and get people that genuinely care about the people that pay taxes here. Do the right thing!

This judge needs to retire or get off the bench. Fines are waived without discussion and a hearing. Stansfield feels it OK to kill a person, while driving -drinking and using drugs- having drugs and alcohol in your car. This judge has set this man free- no jail time, no fine!! Worst judge in Carroll county. If you want to get away with murder-not go to jail or pay a fine stand in front of judge Stansfield.

This was my first time in a courtroom and this judge was late. I expected the max jail time for the drug charge since everything else was swept under the rug. The guy got $500 fine and that was for all charges, including killing a wonderful, productive member of society. He & his lawyer failed to disclose that he was stopped the Saturday before the hearing for driving with a suspended license. I would have thought after hearing about the loss the family has dealt with, the judge would have been more sympathetic to them but instead was great to the offender. I'm appalled by Carroll County's approach to prosecuting the criminals. The state police botched the entire accident report causing the manslaughter charges to be dropped. A police officer told me that if you want to kill someone and get away with it, drive to Carroll County. Very scary isn't it? I will no longer drive to Westminster to shop. I don't know what else Hill can get away with since he's committed the ultimate crime; he took a life.

In a recent case where a man ran a red light killed a passenger in the car.The man (see article) had drugs in the car and beer. History of numerous citations for speeding, negligent driving WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- A Westminster man has pleaded guilty to negligent driving in a 2-vehicle crash that killed a woman.

Twenty-two-year-old Christopher Trinity Hill entered the plea Monday in Carroll County Circuit Court. He was fined $500.

Police say on Aug. 31, Hill ran a red light on Md. 140 in Westminster and hit a car driven by Beatrice Grant. Grant's sister, 68-year-old Mary Ann Christopher of the U.S. Virgin Islands, a passenger, was fatally injured.

The Carroll County Times reports (http://bit.ly/1nMnctT) that Hill had been indicted on a charge of vehicular manslaughter, but that indictment was dismissed.

This man was not even reprimanded by Judge Stansfield and jail time was not even considered by the judge. No drug and alcohol treatment required. Hill paid a $500.00 fine and actually laughed at the the judge. Saturday 8/9-before the hearing -8/11-Hill was stopped by the police and cited for driving on a suspended license. This was not disclosed. We need judges that work to protect citizens not criminals!

Judge Stansfield genuinely tries to be fair and to hear all sides. However, he holds archaic views in child custody issues.

Was recently before Judge Stansfiel for the first time in an extended trial. It was the most delightful time I have had in trial in years. Win, lose or draw, I would be happy to try all of my future cases in his court.
