This Judge should not be a practicing Judge nor attorney for anyone. She is extremely biased and racist!
She was extremely insulting and did not allow me to even present all evidence from my case during the hearing. She was implying that I was not credible with no facts to back it up whatsoever. She allowed any and all discovery without my knowledge. There are several other insulting and biased remarks that she made without any facts to back it up. This case was supposed to be about modifying a child custody case for visistation....However, this judge decided to make it a war on me personally when I am the one who enacted the case against my ex wife for contempt of court for not allowing me access to my children for the last 3 years. I will appeal, file complaints until I'm heard period. This will to stop my quest for being denied my natural rights as a parent especially not this witch of a judge!

Judge McCormick appeared to be of the belief that my case was a waste of her time. She did not behave herself in a professional manner and I think the county is fortunate that this judge is about to retire. Maryland uses a system of Judicial Nominating Commissions to give the governor a list of candidates from whom the governor is to select judges. Having spoken to a woman who for many years chaired the judicial nominating commission for Montgomery County the chair appeared to be of the belief that it was her duty to nominate more Catholics for the lower courts and to elevate more Catholics to the higher Courts. Judge McCormick is one of those judges.

Either caught her on a bad day or she is just truly a mean spirited lady. Or perhaps both.

"[I] have never come across someone so visibly angry and biased in a courtroom"... Observe the conduct of AACC Judge Paul F. Harris Jr. and you will find a clone of what you described. To add more weight, documents to prove this conduct are available for public viewing.

Judge McCormick is set to retire soon. She comes across very angry in court. She is delivering verdicts based off emotion instead of law, evidence, facts and witnesses. In my 10 plus years of experience, I have never come across someone so visibly angry and biased in a courtroom.

Doesn't pay attention. Refuses to read evidence. Blocks witnesses from finishing speaking. Seems angry and disinterested.

As a pro se plaintiff involved in a civil lawsuit against a debt collector who obtained copies of my credit report from Experian on two occasions without a permissible purpose under both state and federal laws, I was repeatedly frustrated by the Court’s: 1) failure to interpret the plain language definitions of “creditor,” “credit” and “account,” as well as the statute of limitations and civil liability for users of credit reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act; 2) failure to enforce the ten days' automatic stay of enforcement period under MD Rule 2-632(a); 3) failure to compose a memorandum detailing the Court’s findings and identifying the controlling legal authorities relied upon to reach its decisions; and 4) failure to give me the opportunity to reply to the defendants’ opposition motion, in accordance with MD Rule 2-311(b).

In Family cases, I have found her to be very good to EXCELLENT, even in cases where she has decisively ruled against my client. She has excellent insight into the developmental needs of children.
