Judge Welch is a pleasure to practice before. He is fair to both sides, and attempts to resolve matters in the best interests of justice, coupled with true concern and compassion for the community and the defendant. He is very even-handed, and will take the time to teach attorneys if they are willing to learn and be guided. He is respectful to all, regardless of your color or status in life. A true example of how to encounter all matters, pleasant or otherwise, with grace and, most of all, integrity.
