He is a bully, and will essentially hold a defense attorney and/or insurance adjuster "hostage" on and off in his chambers for hours, as he grills them, interrupts them, and aggressively "interrogates" them in an effort to strong-arm more money from the insurance company to settle the case. No matter how resolute an adjuster might be; no matter how much in good faith an adjuster has evaluated the case; no matter how respectful and calm an adjuster is--he will basically get in the adjuster's face, raise his voice, and attempt to intimidate the adjuster very aggressively until the adjuster finally relents to such coercive tactics. If you will be in front of this judge for a settlement conference, you better know your file inside and out and be prepared to be intimidated and attacked.
