I practice primarily in federal court and state circuit court. I am very rarely in the state district courts. Compared to the judges I am used to, Judge O'Hara is extremely underwhelming (which is saying something because most of the judges I am in front of are not in any way impressive). O'Hara clearly does not read or understand the briefs, acts like he is the smartest guy in the room (when the opposite is the case), and issues pompously confident bench rulings that are completely inconsistent with the law and/or dispositive evidence. What a shame.
