He used to be pretty smart. He now confuses himself! Routinely leaves himself and other judges confused about his orders. His experience was limited to criminal prosecution, and he'd rather stick with that. He struggles badly with civil cases, especially if they have a novel or complex question. Makes up his own law as he goes along!
