Incredible jurist who provided fair proceeding with my son's lawsuit against a New Jersey State Educational Institution. I expected a bias towards the State Managed court room well and
asked his own questions of witnesses to
seek additional facts to guide the Court to a just verdict. There is justice in this world.

Judge Carey is an excellent trial judge. He manages his courtroom well. He treats attorneys and parties fairly. He knows the law and because he was a practicing attorney who tried cases prior to going on the bench, he understands the reality of trial practice.

Why could Judge Carey mail a written decision to a pro se litigant? Poor pro se litigant is only allowed to get an audio transcription of court record. But because of this to transcribe it is not safe the adversary's power of his money, the substance of it is changed. Please give case ESX-L-5818-08 its direct written decision of Judge Carey to reach the pro se litigant! Thank you!

An excellent civil judge: caring and respectful of counsel and parties. Former defense attorney, but even-handed and practical, although not a legal scholar. Will work hard to get a case settled. A pleasure to appear before!
