Ex wife, who was investigated by CPS 3 times and involuntarily sent to a loony bin wanted 50/50 all of a sudden. This [Redacted by Ed] judge didnt want to deal with us. Melchionne will be late to CMCs so your lawyers get paid. He'll pressure to settle at 12 months. You can object to anything he orders as he'll do everything he can to appoint his auditor, mediation, expert testimony, real estate friends on your case. Don't agree to them as the fix is in if you do. Hes a 2015 appointee whose term runs out 2022. Melchionne was appointed by Jon Corzine, the ex goldman sachs partner that blew up MF Global and had tax payers eat his losses. Melchionne will let his lawyer, mediation, auditor, expert witnees, et al buddies make money for 12 months. then he'll do everything he can to force a settlement.

Obese ,incompetent slob, the epitome of how judges are given the job, an incompetent, unsuccessful lawyer who needs a job, makes political contributions for two years and gets a no show job as a judge. No wonder 80% of lawyers don't want to go to court because the judge has no gray matter between his ears, only fecal matter. Piece of garbage should be unemployed.

Never seen such a cruel, bad judge hurt people and children like Bergen County Chief Division of Families Peter J. Melchionne. Women leave his court shaking and trembling not to recover for months or years or ever. Children's lives ruined and destroyed by his terrible cruelty and torture. This Judge needs to be removed and civil actions and charges need to remove him from the bench and have him stand trial for what he's done.

Melchionne is extremely inhuman. When presenting evidence that my children have been abused and were suffering from bruising after being taken by DYFS, Mellchionne said it was Ok for them to be in the custody of people abusing my children and he said kids better with foster care who abused children and injured by DCPP negligence. He covers up the negligence of DCPP workers by leaving children in custody of people who are harming them. He rules to keep parents away from the children so they cannot see the abuse and injury on the suffering children. He likes to see parents in pain - he's sadistic harming people and children.

Pathetic. Didn't read anything. Facts were so clear and had to slowly repeat things to him. It was the end of the day and he must have been tired and didn't have his usual nap in the afternoon.

When I called him pathetic at the end one of his "bodyguards" threatened me with arrest for trespassing if I didn't leave immediately.

Pathetic is the operative word for the entire joke of a justice system.

Time to call it quits.

This judge should be removed from the bench. He is a biased individual who doesn't care about what a mother has to go through in order to protect her children. He applauds deadbeat fathers and continues to allow them to get away with everything possible. He applauds the deadbeat fathers who lie and manipulate, which makes it so that they can get all of the things that they don't deserve to have, and more. How can this judge be on the bench and continually do this? What matters most are the children. He doesn't care about any child.

Another attorney called this man a "Rogue Judge". He does not seem to bother to fully read motions or pleadings and clearly dsiregards case law and fact. He makes up the rules as he goes along. I am amazed that no one seems to pay attention to all the complaints he has received. He is a shameful, but perfect example of why we should not have political appointees at the local level. Corzine appointed him, we all know where his lack of judgement got him.

Absolutely shocking. It is unbelievable such a judge has been there. Constantly smiles and winks at counsel he sides with. Sits quietly giggling while he fabricates outrageous decisions based on any allegation he hears simply to coerce a litigant to forfeit. Not sure what is really going on behind the scenes with this judge.

This man has caused me to have no faith in our justice system. Complete narcoses, bias, Corrupt and should be removed from the court. Smiles and winks at female council that he sides with. Interesting! Makes up numbers and conveniently forgets, omits or changes testimony in his final rulings. Imputed twice the income that I earn and awarded heavenly against me with regard to equitable distribution. Valued my failed business so far from reality and court order me to pay limp sums I frankly do not have. This man should be punished for his extreme bias and erroneous ways. This judge absolutely missed the mark. He allowed a child to lose all visitation with his loving and capable father because of uncorroborated stories from the mother, who has a history of mental illness. She also extorted money from her ex before she would allow visitation, which was recorded and witnessed by non-partial parties. He is a train wreck waiting to happen. I am not sure how effective a judge is who allows a child to be raised by a woman such as this, and keeps a stable, fit father from his son. If she will "sell" visitation to a man whom she claims has a drug problem for just a few bucks, how can she be believed in any instance? Ridiculous and sickening.
