I thought maybe it was just me. But after reading the comments here, I can see that I have once again been cursed with a lousy judge. This guy is a piece of work. Very wrongly granted SJ in case with a slew of disputed material facts. It was shocking, quite frankly. It is sad that we are subjected to this kind of treatment. It's a disgrace. Overall, the NJ Court system is pretty horrible

He routinely pre-judges cases. He’ll waive away black and white evidence that disproves his initial thought. While he is very smart, and can potentially be a good judge, unfortunately he’s a disgrace to our legal system. Anybody that doubts me can easily look up how often he gets appealed.

This Judge has let his power go to his head. Seems to generally dislike being a Judge. He is condescending to both sides and thinks everyone in his Courtroom is wasting his time.

This...person is the most ridiculous excuse for a judge. Basically, a self-absorbed useless waste of bench space. Any pre-trial evidence, supporting documentation, etc. is wasted on this loser. He's a joke, has no opinions for his dumb decisions and should not be in a court room unless he's a defendant. None of his decisions are based on any facts, evidence or law. In summary, he's a complete joke.

Absolutely horrible. Failed to follow the rules of evidence, failed to consider the actual evidence, disregarded undisputed facts, and reached conclusions that neither party even argued. Largely wasted parties' time by pre-judging matter, but then requiring oral argument - which he promptly cut short.

Judge Wellerson is one of the best trial judges out there. Handles the jury well and is fair, attentive and engaging during trial. He is a straight shooter and I can not say enough good things about him as a trial judge.
