I am giving serious consideration to reporting Judge Chell to the New Jersey Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct, which is the organization in New Jersey that disciplines judges for their conduct.

Thankfully he stuck with his tentative decision but it wasn't without putting me down as a single mother, implying that I was jealous that my ex husband had moved on, and disregarding all documents that were submitted (timely) showing his $10,0000 arrears in child support. When I asked why he would even consider lowering child support for someone who is so far behind in payments he just got more indignant. He gave my ex 3 months to file an appeal and pretty much said he'll grant the lower support at that time. Thankfully my ex is an idiot and never filed. I think he felt bad how poorly I was treated. If I ever have to appear in court I will not allow Chell to be the judge. He has it out for women. He has deep seated mommy issues. It's strange and alarming.

Denied to hear me on child support had welfare there when it was DYFS who got the order of child support. I'm permanently disabled had no income never received any notification that there was a court hearing. He changed it from child support to TANF and here it was $1176 a month $252 a week when my actual income from Social Security was $1246. They sent the notice to Social Security as if I worked there.

When I looked at the tentative decision it was obvious he didn't read my motion. He said I didn't provide dicumrnt which I clearly had. I had my stamped and dated forms and had to present them AGAIN. So he just removed the parts from the decision where he said I didn't present my facts and kept the decision the same. He did review anything. I also present info that there were MANY police reports for domestic violence. I legally can't get copies of these reports. I needed to inform him they existed so he could pull them and use them to decide visitation. He looked me dead in my eyes with a grin on his face and refused to get the reports and ordered me to continue to send my son to that EXTREMELY VIOLENT home. My son has severe anxiety because if the extreme violence he witnessed in that home. If the judge would have called, he would have found out the situation was 10X worse than I even knew. He knowingly and willingly sent my son to a violent home. There are no words to describe what a soulless, evil person he is.

This judge seems to have his mind made up before he even hears the facts. He was not even aware of most of the facts and was not willing to hear them anyway.

Arrogant and unprofessional at times. I think he is a perfect example of someone who has everything in life because of his father. If his father never sat on town council, I do not think he would have gotten to where he is today. To my knowledge, the only firm he worked at was his own and most of his jobs were local government positions which I think were easy for him to get since he was on town council and mayor.
