We as plaintiffs appeared at a pre-trial conference with Marybeth Rogers on 2/08/18. Instead of an attempt at resolution of our claim we were instead subjected to an arrogant lecture by Rogers in which she pointed out that her time was valuable and she wasclearly intent on bullying us to drop the case (of which she had NO knowledge) She asked if we really wanted to proceed with a case which could drag on forever and would be very expensive. She stated that she would do everything in her power to intensify that cost by prolonging the case and that in the end it all came down to a roll of the dice (her words!). As we filed the claim she was clearly directing her words at us, the instigators of this waste of time and courtwork! Never mind that we had the perfect right to do so: we had an ironclad case of undue influence, breach of fiduciary duties outright fraud but we were denied our constitutional rights to pursue our case due to this judges phony compassion and desire to clear her calendar. She had no knowledge of our case and no right to deny us our right to due process. She was obviously full of herself and had no interest in justice. I do not believe she is competent to be a judge. Her job is to HEAR cases not to motivate victims to DROP cases. She has done us an injustice and deserves to be investigated. I will be filing a complaint with the Judicial Board of Review. She had no right to be so dismissive of our legitimate case. She, in effect, had decided on the verdict in this case before hearing any facts. Someone should explain to her what her job is. She obviously has no clue

She is so racist toward blacks and Hispanics, I cannot believe she is still on the bench.

Rogers temperament causes her to be dismissive and inclined to pre-judge.

Her ego gets in the way of allowing a fair trial.

One of the nicer Judges in Hudson County. She tries really hard and works to get cases resolved.
