Lies and deceit are commonplace in this courtroom. The only people served are the blood thirsty attorneys who care little for the welfare of the family but lining their own greedy pockets. Hackensack Family Court is quite possibly the worst example of a system so broken, there is no hope. Stay away.

There is nothing honorable about this judge. I agree with one of the reviews on here that if I could rate him a zero I would. His interests are not of the families and children at all. He consciously overlooked relevant facts and evidence presented to him. I found him sexist, demeaning, arrogant, nasty and lazy. Also, there are some definite back room relations that are going on with this judge. As he seems to have a bias and favor towards certain representation. He will bully you into a settlement to get the case off his docket as quickly as possible. If you can get your case reassigned I would suggest you do so. Especially if you are a woman.

There is nothing honorable about Terry Bottinelli. He does not even deserve the title "Judge". He is biased from the get-go and makes up his small minded mind at the beginning of a case. If one of the attorneys is his "crony", then, BEWARE, the case is over for your client. As the other comments confirm, As the other comments confirm, he is rude, offensive, disrespectful and discourteous to the attorney who is not his crony and to that attorney's client. Since Mr. Bottinelli has made up his mind at the beginning, it does not matter what evidence is presented and what it proves. He destroyed my client's life both financially, emotionally and physically by purposely ignoring evidence. This man,Terry Bottinelli is only parading as a judge. A real judge is neutral and possesses a heart and a brain.
