Civil Matter. Judge Kimberly Espinales-Maloney was a great judge for my personal injury lawsuit. Proceedings were smooth, from in limine motions and all pre-trial matters until a jury verdict in my client's favor. Judge Espinales-Maloney was accommodating and fair to both sides and I would be happy to try another case before her.

Civil matter. Judge Kimberly Maloney intentionally removed just about all my evidence from trial, calling both attorneys to sidebar and whispering so that I intentionally may not be able to hear them followed by the removal of evidence.
I was at Gasland asking to use the restroom while the gas attendant knowingly directed me to a dangerous area who was laughing and smirking while bing videotaped by one of my friends. All caught on tap. A weeping hose got tangled around my left ankle causing me to fall 5 feet off of a retaining wall landing on the adjacent property onto to a brick paver. Injuries, 5 broken ribs pneumothorax and fractured my T10 L1/L2. During jury selection just about every white individual was left out, founding the jury to be racist & discriminate. Judge Kimberly Maloney was protecting Travellers Insurance, the defence attorney Lisa DeRogatis & Judge Kimberly Maloney worked at Travelers Insurance for a span of 10 years. Conflict of interest!
Verdict came back within a matter of minutes 7 to 1. I was left with injuries/pain and not being able to collect a dollar.

Judge Espinales works at the Hudson County Superior Court. She was working in the Landlord tenant division apparently going around illegally evicting tenants like me favor of rich property owners. She does this by completely ignoring landlord tenant laws that are established to protect tenants against cruel and ruthless landlords for the sole benefit of protecting criminal slumlord property owners and the like. After I complained about her illegal actions towards me, they have now moved her to the civil law division most likely to ruin people's lives over there. HCSC probably even gave her a raise in her salary that is over $165,000 per year or more (average pay for a superior court judge in NJ). Judge Espinales also happens to be a RACIST who could care less about the minority population in Hudson County and the poor including non minorities, and no doubt has contributed significantly to the gentrification throughout jersey city and other parts of Hudson County. This Hudson county superior court landlord tenant division evicts over 12,000 Hudson County families. Judge Espinales evicted me despite having submitted to her proof of the one month rent payment in question by the landlord at 417 43rd Street, Apt 2 Rear, Union City, NJ. I provided her with original receipts of all of my rent payments and the corresponding postal receipts. Judge Espinales also evicted me knowing I was a disabled person over one months rent that I showed her I HAD PAID with my rent receipts and postal receipts. Judge Espinales evicted me without having received any proof WHATSOEVER from the landlord or her corrupt lawyer. All the above can be confirmed by way of hcsc court audio or written transcripts of the landlord tenant hearing that took place on October 15, 2015 and two other court appearances shortly afterwards. I had to fight to get the eviction removed but judge Espinales bit she still made me pay this rich property owner HER COURT COSTS when I didn't have to by law, especially after this Judge Espinales admitted on record of making the mistake of evicting me. This wasn't a mistake however. This was obviously done on purpose not only to harass me, but also in the hope that I would not challeng her illegal eviction and be re removed from my apartment that was inhabitable, by the way. And all should also know that the judicial conduct committee that is supposed to make certain Judges dont do anything improper
in court rooms and respond to complaints filed against Judges in New Jersey, pretty much told me to go to hell because Judge Espinales did NOTHING WRONG when the evidence I sent them was overwhelming which included the Hudson county superior court transcripts that are available to the public for a fee of $10.00. Avoid this Judge at all costs.
