This judge ignored law and fact when making a ruling. He lacked the ability to figure out what really happened. He sometimes even made up fact if he wanted one party he favored to win.

Litigant

Comments:
I saw him ignore proven perjury because the perjurer was the litigant he favored. Whatever merits he may have had as a legislator, he was ill suited to the bench especially family court matters. Although St. Patrick (who promised the Irish in his Compact that he would judge them on Judgement Day) is a merciful soul, that mercy is dependent on honesty. Whether he can muster that honesty is an open question given his intellectual dishonesty and own lack of mercy. Because compassion for others is the life blood of logic and love of the law, I hope that he does muster the necessary intellectual honesty and acknowledges his own lack of mercy when he stands before St. Patrick.

He does not belong on the bench. He doesn't listen to anything to you have to say and pretty sure he doesn't even read your paperwork. He rushed me out of the court room and ignored all of the requests my lawyer submitted. Lying in his court room is allowed with no consequence.

This judge does not care about fairness. I actually believe he is on the bench just to collect a check. If you are a prose he does not care what you have to say or the facts in your case. He continues to ignore precedents, the statues, and any facts provided. Judges like him know they are protected by the appellate courts. His interpretation of cases law is skewed by who he wants to side with. He does not care how bad kids are suffering due to his decisions. Hate to say it but I think he is just an arrogant, self centered, white privileged, entitled, less than human being. He knows there is NO consequences to his actions or lack there of.

Peter Barnes III is an ex-NJ Senator who is so arrogant that he just cannot follow the laws and our court rules or even Precedence. He denies everything with ZERO reasoning or lawful understanding. Keeps you out of the court by hearing everything "on the papers" even though a Hearing was requested. So arrogant that even when you catch him, give a lawful example showing the issue, he ignores you, blocks you from the system and your right to a trial or fare hearing. Disrespects the Constitutional rights of people all day and No ONE cares... works with impunity. Horrible Judge he needs to go asap!

This judge does not follow the letter of the law. I continue to pay child support for my son, who graduated in 2016. Fall of 2016, he was not enrolled into any higher education program, he enrolled part-time Spring 2017. Fall of 2017, he again was not enrolled into any higher education program, he enrolled part-time Spring 2018. I filed a motion claiming he has not been a full-time for two consecutive years, my motion was denied without prejudice. On August 2018 my son can to live with me full-time, after he, his sister and his mother were forced to leave their apartment. I filed a motion asking for child support to be recalculated, my motion again was denied without prejudice. Finally I filed another motion asking for change of venue, since I no longer in Middlesex County and neither does the defendant, she lives in Monmouth County and again my motion was denied without prejudice.
