This judge was biased and would not even look at the facts. She denied my husband additional time with his children despite him leaving the mom their home and keeping everything in tact for them when first divorced. He did what was best when they were young and the mom was a stay at home mom. But as they grew older and started enjoying more time with their dad such as fishing, golfing, camping, etc. my husband wanted 50/50 parenting. Especially since the mom was now work ing full time. The judge denied even one additional day a month. He was heartbroken as his ex never allows the children to visit unless it is his time. She even holds them in the house until exactly 5pm when he goes to pick them up and arrives a few minutes early. It is very sad. The children are the ones to suffer. We just try and make the little time we have with them even more special.

I think the judge or clerk wrote the previous review.
She was incompetent to say the least. Rude, nasty, and could not follow along in a contentious domestic violence, and child custody case. She should be brought up on some kind of neglect charge for what she did to my son. I’m glad she’s in criminal court, she has no business in Family Court when she can interpret what domestic violence looks like. Newsflash Judge Remsen it looks like physical, mental and financial abuse. Maybe someone should’ve trained her before putting her on the bench.

This judge actually cares about the ppl and families in her court room. She doesn’t rush through! She takes her time, looks at your case thoroughly. She try’s to get to the root of the problem and wants to help fix it. She is kind and fair to both parties.
