What a lousy judge! Routinely, ignores
NJ Statutes. Biased. judgmental. Shouldn't still be a judge. Put his old
ass out to pasture !

Comments:
[Redacted by Ed.] Delayed my case for 3 years despite zero evidence from the plaintiff of any contractual violation of any kind on my part. Finally started ruling on motions, all in my favor. Then, stopped hearing the case advised us that we needed to settle, and threw out our motions for which he had already ruled in our favor. [Redacted by Ed.]

Comments:
unethical, egregious, unfair, biased towards pro se litigants and their witnesses. Only respects other practicing attorneys on cases. Steers case for pro se plaintiffs to lose and cause emotional, financial and legal hardships on the pro se litigants and the persons with whom is asking for justice, fairness and equality in the judicial process. Judge Harrington should not be presiding over any cases as he is a very impartial and deviant Judge who is harming many persons through him continuing to sit on the bench. He should be brought up on judicial misconduct, found guilty and removed for good!

Judge Harrington is Kangaroo Court judge. Im appealing his decision and just received my transcripts so what im saying is true. This senile old man ended my hearing with a quote from Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He isnt fair and has an us against them mentality when it comes to plaintiff's in civil cases against Burlington County.

Comments:
Dishonorable. He ignored obvious violations of statute. He knew details of mediation sessions which are supposed to be secret. He was arrogant and clearly biased against litigants that were not represented by a lawyer. If you do not have a lawyer, run and get one or Harrington will crush you regardless of what is required by statute.

Worst Judge in the County. Will not offer a fair or just verdict for the public. Needed to go years ago.

Comments:
Judge Harrington is incredibly fair and well-prepared. He is also practical, efficient, and encourages litigants to reach resolutions whenever practicable. He also seems to takes his time with pro se litigants, who seem to generally heard first. I really appreciated his candor and demeanor.

Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:1.3
Comments:
Heavily political and steeped in cronyism favoring attorneys and defendants with creative yet erroneous conclusions.
Citizens do not get a fair hearing at all and he loves to play the delay and frustrate game. Very much look forward to his retirement and good riddance.

Comments:
Harrington is a mad hatter on his bench and he seems to like it that way. The less anyone knows what is going on in his courtroom the better seems to be his modus operandi. He has utter contempt for laymen before his court, preferring to dupe and bully to legitimate resolution. He had a clear conflict of interest in our case but chose not to recuse himself. The man is 100% ego and 1% integrity.

He should do what he does best Family court.

Judge Harrington is a well balanced Judge. I think they should bring him back to the Family Court, and keep him in the Family Court for as long as they can. He understands family issues, and he can spot a player (husband or wife) from a distance. He is a real down to earth Judge, who no matter what, he always rule in the best interest of the child.
