Because of this judge's inability to exercise proper 'judgment,' utilizing common sense, he failed to detect the blatant lies of a controlling, abusive plaintiff and his misuse of the legal system and domestic violence laws. It is the worst form of domestic violence to have someone using the system to wrongfully hurt and abuse you. Judge Rhode's inability to properly weigh the FACTS of this case resulted in me being victimized by the system and further placed in harm's way by allowing the plaintiff to maintain a position of ultimate control over me based on false allegations. An FRO was issued against ME. It has impacted my health, well-being and entire way of life...I continue to be at the mercy of my abuser and am forced to live in constant fear, looking over my shoulder, while considered in the eyes of the law as 'the defendant' in a domestic violence issue. I have never seen such a lack of consideration and clear common sense in a courtroom, to the point that his closing argument was both offensive and belittling to me...based on NO facts from the hearing, but a few casually stated remarks of the plaintiff. I left this courtroom feeling completely violated and have lost all faith in the justice system because of this man. He should not be allowed to handle such sensitive issues that stand to so easily destroy innocent people's lives if not exercised properly by a judge.
