Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: NJ4102
Rating:2.7
Comments:
Really just flies off the cuff as a judge. No real legal basis for many of his decisions. At times, he is disrespectful to the litigants he is supposed to serve (I believe judges are still civil servants). Why would the Judiciary recall a judge who most would agree is so poor at dispensing justice? Clearly, they are short handed and desperate for judges.

This man is strongly opinionated. He does not prepare, uses sentiment, ignores hard evidence and lacks common sense. He is an awful judge that one only sees on TV. He is also retired and has cognitive issues which affect his ability to work as a judge.

Judge completely fails to take facts in consideration and relies on his general sentiment to parties and prejudges. Awful judge and an embarrassment to the legal system.

Does not do due diligence.
Pre judges situation
Inclined to accept unfounded and blatantly false statements and lies if it suits his pre judgement..
Reads only what suits him
Picks and chooses what he likes not the facts !

Litigant

Comments:
In 2004, Judge Rubin removed my Joint Legal custody rights to parent my children because I punished them for not honoring their parenting time with me. Judge Rubin admitted he did not read my certification and failed to conduct any hearing on the matter. Because of him I have not seen my children for 11 years. this man is stupid as he can not determine a single spaced line from a double spaced line. I doubt if he understands the meaning of law.

Comments:
Another very good Hunterdon Judge. Extremely tolerant, perhaps too tolerant and patient (if those qualities can be considered faults), open minded, and extremely diligent in preparation and scholarship. A pleasure to appear before him.

Judge Rubin is an excellent judge and an asset to the bench.
