Judge Katz read not only the papers, but also the Plaintiff's deposition transcript on a motion for summary judgment in an employment case, and reached the correct result. It restores my faith in the judiciary to find a judge who will take the time to read the papers and fearlessly grant summary judgment when appropriate. She also displays no bias in favor of local counsel and against attorneys from North of 195.

I have been in this Judge's courtroom on a very frequent basis. She is fair, she knows the law, and she holds everyone accountable. Despite the previous comment ( most likely from a person representing himself who lost custody of his child due, in all likelihood to a DYFS issue) Judge Katz bends over backwards to ensure that the children come first. Rumers have it that she is leaving the family division to go to another division. If true, we'll miss her. She truly keeps the children first and foremost.

Very bright and efficient- great temperment and willing to listen to counsel and litigants alike-very fair and equitable in her decisions but most importantly is practical
