Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NJ2580
Rating:3.2
Comments:
Alarming disposition on the bench, evidenced by a rush to judgment (based on a crabbed and unsupported view of the law) and seeming to desire to cut a proceeding short. Cannot rule out an ulterior political motive.

Not pleasant and did not feel like due process for my client. I was embarrassed to have my client in front of Gardner as opposed to another Essex County judge. I'm embarrassed that his view of the justice system may be affected by his hearing before Gardner.

Litigant

Comment #: NJ2352
Rating:3.0
Comments:
is politically motivated. does not understand the law and is bias against pro se litigants. going to appellate division where i was successful last time round. do not expect much from this judge. you must be an aggressive litigator or this judge will destroy your case.
