Judge Carter is an exemplary jurist who thoroughly probes the caselaw, examines the ethical implications of her decisions, and explains her reasoning.

Her and her staff are unprofessional and rude. She discriminates against litigants, is rude to attorneys and has no grasp of the law or rules of Court. I am trying to figure out how she got on the bench!

She is absolutely horrible and unfair. She does not even take the time to investigate and understand the rights of the children being affected. Her law clerk is even worse, and they both should be ashamed of themselves.

Judge Carter made an absolutely nonsensical and self-contradictory ruling in a recent matrimonial case which will only sever the relationship between parent and children. How can the State of New Jersey have a judge on the bench who makes such irresponsible and uneducated rulings?

Judge Andrea Carter's cruel and inhumane treatment of my terminally ill husband:

Please read and sign the petition below, which is a most egregious New Jersey alimony horror story, and help me get "Justice for James." My husband, now deceased, was tormented at the hands of Judge Andrea Carter and the defendant, his ex-wife, a South Brunswick, NJ grade school teacher, the entire last year of his life as he suffered from terminal brain cancer. Legislative hearings for alimony reform should take place before the end of this year. NJ alimony laws are in desperate need of reform. Please help me get this story out so that this never happens to another litigant ever again!

You got away with this, but hopefully you won't escape karma.

(For those who monitor this, I know you will just delete this. You don't care about justice. You're probably a bunch of money-hungry lawyers yourselves.)

This Judge had an excellent grasp of the facts and took an enormous amount of information and crystalized it into a well-formed, readable decision. She separated out some less significant issues to save time and costs for the parties. However, she and I had some personality conflicts which were hard to overcome--although I certainly share the blame I don't ordinarily rile people up so quickly. Be prepared--she is the type of Judge who will give litigant's a lot of room to make arguments which she may completely disagree with. She lets you lawyer as you will, but she won't suffer fools lightly and will bring the gavel down as needed. She is the kind of Judge where you're sure you've lost, right up until you win (and vice versa). She reads your papers closely. She is a fine addition to the bench and I expect to see her go VERY high in the State or even the Federal court system.
