I was a child in her court, and she had a disgusting biased relationship with my awful mentally ill mother, who threatened to kill my puppy if I didn’t lie in court about my father. She is despicable and a great dishonor on the justice system. She absolutely is a hater of men in court and she enabled a terribly abusive woman. Shame on her.

Judge Bartlett has turned out to be a big disappointment. She was an intelligent and highly skilled family attorney before joining the Judiciary. During her tenure, Hunterdon County Family's clearance performance has deteriorated to the point that Hunterdon came in dead last in the state in terms of backlog.

She is extremely biased towards the Wife to the point where she essentially advocates for the Wife and discounts much of Husband's allegations.

She somehow thinks that unreversed U.S. Supreme Court opinions expire with time and has actually written that such opinions from the 70s, which are accepted throughout the US as well-settled law are "old" and somehow not good law anymore in her court. She ignores her responsibility to protect children. Moreover, she ignores such established principles as res judicata and has ordered re-inquiry into matters that were solidly settled by prior judges in final orders.

While she has good demeanor and is friendly, her ability to comprehend the law seems to become more limited with time. It seems as if she does not read the papers and some of her decisions seem to defy logic to the point where they do not appear to be worth the paper on which they are written.

Now, she is being transferred to criminal because she could not handle the work load in family. All of this is a great disappointment because she showed great promise when appointed.

Judge Bartlett reads everything and remembers what she reads. She listens to everyone, is courteous and fair to everyone and follows the law. The best family judge out there right now.
