He seems to be very reasonable on the bench. But after you get a few rulings you realize that he is bizarre. He seem to be caught up in the minutia of the law, rather than seeing the big picture in the case.

This guy is nuts. Made our Atty resubmit multiple times the same documents and ruled against us with no oposition in a foreclosure. Overturned on appeal then never gives the decision until we threaten to sue and send him demand letters. Vito Lopez Brother in Law. Old School Italian Social Communist. Polical Hack. Donate to Ridgewood Bushwick Centers then tell him to get off you case due to conflict of interest.

HAS A BIT OF OCD; HAS A FEW UNIQUE THEORIES ON EVIDENCE; HAVING SAID THAT, A PLEASURE, EVEN HANDED, ISN'T ROOTING FOR ANYONE, TAKES AS MUCH TIME AS HE FEELS HE NEEDS TO GET RULINGS CORRECT; AND HERE'S A RARITY, WANTS, INSISTS UPON CIVILITY IN THE COURT ROOM.

An even-handed jurist with respect for lawyers who wasn't afraid of calling out the City's obstructive discovery tactics when he used to run the part. I respect him for his lack of bias, even though he regularly spent extensive time with them in the City part. His decisions are well researched and always made in good faith.
