Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:5.6
Comments:
In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. In Kings, he's considered a good judge. Works hard, but moves too fast. Not that bright, but tries. You could do way worse. And your trial will be done in a day, even if you have 30 witnesses.

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: NY1044
Rating:9.1
Comments:
Can try liability in in auto case in an hour, and he has been known to takes witnesses out of order, but runs a very fair trial, even as he interjects himself into things a good deal. Cuts through the BS and rightfully lands on questioners who are simply marking or wasting time.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY489
Rating:8.3
Comments:
Nice man who wants to do the right thing. Very active in settlement negotiations. Doesn't want to hurt plaintiffs, but recommends numbers on the lower side. His rulings are not always accurate; however, he doesn't try to hurt anyone. He interferes way too much in the trial. Takes over questioning of the witness prematurely. Doesn't try to show up the lawyer, but tries to extract the points that he feels are important. "Counsel, let's move it along" is his favorite expression. Moves trials at the speed of light. If you get assigned to him, it's fine. Just make sure that all of your witnesses are ready to go.
