Excellent Jurist. Even handed and well versed in the law. You would be lucky to draw him as your judge.

Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:4.0
Comments:
We need to vote in judges that respect the public. Pro se litigants are abused in his courtroom, and only the attorneys win. I was verbally abused by the attorney for the other side, and he could not have cared less. I lost my case because I was a pro se litigant. The CI judge did nothing for over a year, and never even showed in the courtroom. They were instructed to just empty the trial calendar. (The chief judge was notified, but did nothing.)

Comments:
I was a defendant in matrimonial court before Judge Garguilo. The plaintiff was an employee at his court. During grounds trial, this judge improperly blocked testimony of her affairs with her boss and co-workers, and permitted testimony without the specificity required by statute (see Dodd v. Colbert, 3rd Dept., 2009). He hosed me on every motion. He promised me that he would be impartial, but he wasn't.
