Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY5987
Rating:2.2
Comments:
He is late to court; unable to manage the court's calendar; clueless as to the law; and discourages settlements by attempting to "define" rather than "describe" terms of the agreement as he is required by law and interjecting his own opinions into his definition. For example, he will explain that settling may harm a person's credit. If he did not have an elected position, he would have been fired long ago.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY5377
Rating:7.9
Comments:
Comment NY5230 is clearly that of a disgruntled pro se landlord who was too cheap to hire a lawyer and who did not get the ruling he wanted. The fact that the commenter is listed as a criminal defense lawyer reveals his/her inaccuracies, as Judge Morris does not sit in a criminal part and as the commenter is clearly not a lawyer. Additionally, whatever you might say about Judge Morris, abusive is certainly not one of them. Get over your loss, 5230.
