Judge Bruce may be the nicest person to ever wear a robe. He is a pleasure to appear before. I was a prosector and defense and he is very kind and thoughtful

This judge is a gentleman. When I think of Judges I think of I guess hand them high and non feeling. Judge Bruce reminds me of a gentle giant that speaks with a fine eloquent demeanor but knows that he has a job to do. I have personal dealing with this man and he is a diamond in the rough. I have dealt with Judges n a personal level and never seen professionalism like Judge Bruce. He reminds me of Judge Mathis from TV. God Bless this man and him being a fair man and a gentle man.

The only thing worse for a criminal defendant than a strict judge is a dumb one. J. Bruce is an embarrassment to the legal profession. The judge should always be one of the smartest people in the room, not the dumbest one. How can the community have faith in the system when they have judges like J. Bruce to answer to. I guess thus us what we get when our judges run unopposed.

Judge Bruce is a good person who happens to be a good judge. He has good instincts and is street smart. I argued a case before him two years ago. Given that the case was an ugly sex abuse case between stepfather and daughter, I wasn't too pleased with the judge I drew. However, he did acquit as he should have and I was impressed that he did the right thing, even though the case was so ugly. My only complaint, albeit a minor one, was that he insisted on counsel to approch the bench on almost every issue, no matter how trivial. But, having said that, he gave my client a fair trial. That's all we can ask for.
