Someone needs to supervise this now Supervising Judge of the Matrimonial Part in Westchester County. As with Referee Irene Ratner, if you're representing a husband, and she doesn't like you as an attorney (especially if you're an intelligent, attractive, female attorney), it's all over for the client in the first court appearance (2 weeks before trial). She actually said at the pre-trial conference, that even though she didn't know anything about the facts, that my client should have accepted his wife's outrageous child support demand. WOW!! This is why she does everything off-the-record, and if you have the audacity to ask to go on-the-record, she says (off-the-record, of course!!) that you are trying to throw her under the bus!! Hey Judge, it isn't about you!! It's about being fair & impartial to BOTH clients. She needs to be transferred to a criminal court (where juries make the decision; not a miserable, vicious, ungrateful female), or banished to a windowless room, where she has no contact with the public. She is yet another example of a "public" servant, who actually only serves her own ego.
