JUDGE Dena Douglas is a poor excuse of a judge this is whatI witnessed in her court room, let’s start off with her closing her eyes and nodding off the entire time the hearing was going on. JUDGE Dena Douglass showed no kind of interest or concern to any of her witness speaking it was completely disrespectful to all of the parties involved. Lastly to say the least how can a judge walk off the bench before an individual is done speaking. I would like to express major concerns and spread awareness of this injustice toward everyone who was present and attested this type of judicial misconduct that is considered unethical.

HORRIBLE, Let a murderer BARRY WELLS walk free... HAD ALL the evidence showing he murdered his wife yet she still found him not guilty... she was yawning and nodding off to sleep the whole trial... FIRE HER NOW

Easily the worst judge in Brooklyn, if not the state. Is universally obnoxious and condescending to both parties. Bizarre temperament on bench.

Extremely rude judge. To both sides as well as the jury. The type to just walk off the bench and start talking on her cellphone when you're on the record. No regard at all for others.

My experience with this judge is that she will ignore the law for the result she wants.

Worked with her from a distance in KCDA's Office; now as a criminal defense attorney i appear before her occasionally; she seems very fair to me all the way around to both defense and prosecution; on my cases and watching her on others. I see these older, not-so-great comments about her, but those appear to be in the civil arena. She seems very fair and tries to do the right thing in my opinion
