Awful demeanor. Seems to fall asleep during testimonies and makes a trial seem a waste of time. He is a non-caring individual that makes one think of him as a creep, moron, whatever..............

I have been trying to get a divorce and unfortunately judge Fisher wont allow this to happen. His blatant disgust for women is so apparent. My husband hasn't stepped foot in his court room...not one time. My husband continually doesnt show up for our court hearings.He hasnt filled out any of the necessary paperwork...he continually misses court hearings and judge Fisher still wont grant me a divorce. I have 8000.00 on legal fees my husband hasnt even hired an attorney. I honestly dont know what to do.

Judge Fisher has done Monroe County a great disservice. He his simply a puppet for a few influential people in Monroe County. Who use his strings to destroy their opponents in unfair court proceeding. A perfect example of the good-ole-boy club.
It is time for him to go, watch for and support the oncoming efforts to have him impeached.

Fortunately,this judge is no longer sitting in the Commercial Part. Perhaps that court can now become a viable option again. If you happen to get this judge in another Supreme Court matter, gooood luck! I was involved in four appeals of his decisions in the Commercial Part, two after trial, and he was overturned each time. On two of those occasions the appellate tribunal not only reversed, but actually granted judgment (correctly) the other way!

He's now in the Matrimonial Part. If your case is assigned to this judge, avoid him by consenting to having either of the excellent attorney-referees 'hear and determine'.

This judge has singlehandedly dismantled the reputation and viability of the Commercial part of Supreme Court in Monroe County. Has issued terrible decisions, is overturned often, and is not liked by the bench or the bar. He has issued decisions that counsel on both sides found to be incomprehensible, including decisions that get uncontroverted facts confused or simply wrong. If you have a commercial case over $25,000 in Monroe County, this is where you end up...so if you have an available venue anywhere else, I suggest you use it!
