Tomorrow this Judge will decide wether the office of Steven J. Baum made mistakes on my foreclosure sale and that will determined whether or not two teen agers 17 years old twin and I a woman with Ovarian Cancer will have to be evicted from the home that I bought with my ex-husband in 1991, where they were born in 1997. Please read the Opposition papers, the new lawyers do not explain with one solid word about their mistake and about how they had led Steven J. Baum sell the house of some one who never went to court.

Comments:
In my own personal opinion, this judge is a complete embarrassment to the bench and bar, biased, racially prejudiced, and is more concerned with the "game" of harming the lawyers in a case than helping the litigants resolve a dispute. This is what happens when the position of judge does not pay enough to attract true scholars: not enough people run in the election and Judge Kitzes wins a seat.

Comments:
The worst Judge I have ever seen. He does not make decisions based on the law or the facts but only on his preconcieved notions of the case. Completely unprofessional.

An amazing combination of obnoxiousness and stupidity. Even in New York he stands out as an awful judge.

Calling him the worst judge would be an understatement. He should not be on the bench. Period.

The worst judge. He should not be permitted to be on the bench. He is a disgrace. He has a warped personality and abuses everyone in his courtroom to compensate and make him feel big. He does not know the law, and probably does not care. He is reversed often.

The first time I encountered this judge, he was very rude, but years later I was assigned to him for trial, and found him to be pleasant and hardworking.

Comments:
He's already been reversed by the Appellate Division by prejudging cases in front of the jury. Same thing happens to everyone who appears before him unless you are from one of his favorite plaintiff's firms in the city. I cannot understand how he's been allowed to stay on the bench for so long. Oh yeah, I forgot - it's essentially a political job.

I can't say that I have ever been before a worse jurist. He is nasty, lazy and disrepectful to both lawyers and litigants. Impossible to tell anything about his legal acumen.
