An unfair and inconsistent jurist. The law to Justice Knipel is a mere set of guidelines. Perhaps a result of the overloaded court system.

It’s about time he changes his ways. Always Letting banks and Insurance companies delay cases for years to screw Brooklyn residents. He let corona virus brew in those court rooms. Court rooms packed to help greedy banks and Insurance companies. People are dead from corona in those court rooms. He allowed adjournment after adjournment so there were no seats left in court room. Honest residents hurt trying to get help on their case. Corona a punishment for the greed in these courts. Good he dismissed some Bank cases. He damaged thousands of cases. I almost was dead from Brooklyn Supreme Court myself. What a horror of a system. I still have nightmares from that court.

Great judge! He dismissed some foreclosure cases to move things along and gave an opportunity to the homeowners to work it out with the lenders on more favorable terms. He is smart, respectful and capable to comprehend the legal arguments just by listening to both sides.

Justice Knipel is a disgrace to the judicial system. This judge who is also an administrative judge is known for misapplying the law. He wrongfully dismissed several foreclosure actions. As a result homeowners are now being dragged back into court past the statute of limitations. He also has little to no regard for the law. He is destroying the integrity of the judicial system.

Judge Lawrence Knipel Allowed his fat cat judges & Lawyers to adjourn and adjourn cases which made all courtroom proceedings a delayed (Kangaroo Court)

This also lead to the spreed of this Corona Virus in our court system, which infected innocent civilians & Court personals
Thanks to your mishandling of courts cases you personally speed this Corona Virus throughout Brooklyn
Stop adjourning the court cases and do the job pubic gave It should not take 8 years to get through court system What a disgrace!

Administrative "Judge" Lawrence Kniple in Brooklyn Supreme court favors foul play and gangsters. He steals property with ease. You won't know what hit you. If you in Kings County Supreme Court and your only home illegally, unlawfully demanded by an illegal alien, the end is near. Obstruction of justice, human rights abuses, severe violations of criminal and civil laws, disregard the Constitution is all "Judge " Lawrence is capable to deliver! New York State should lose its funding and bond, regarding Judge Lawrence Knipple !"

Its terrible Judge Sylvia Ash was allowed to work on cases after being admonished for taking gifts from MCU and hearing their cases. I believe your the supervising judge in this court she was removed from. Maybe you had no power to act out on issues. But I am proud of our Justice Department (FBI) and Appellate Division who quickly removed her from hearing cases at all and removed her from the bench while the criminal allegations against her are being pursued. Its not like she even lost her pay. This is serious accusations. There should be no appearances of impropriety. No one is to talk to Judges in advance of cases. Judge Knipel if your in charge. Its time to fix this broken court system. Each litigant should have an impartial judge and judges should never congregate with litigants or lawyers that come before them period. Please make it your court policy that all litigants have the same chance in your court. Rich or poor. I am very proud of the Appellate Division and Justice department who quickly protected the public from MCU. MCU should not have power over our courts. I have faith you will make decisions to fix this system if your in charge.

Wake up and help the people of New York not just the people you know. We the people of New York want a fair court system. Equal access to the court system is imperative. Not who you know. Stop the adjournment after adjournment. Start mandatory settlement conferences where all parties appear with the clients to resolve cases quickly. Let the parties in each conference. Do not let the lawyers hide in your chambers without the client present. No closed door meetings. Don’t trust the lawyers are helping their clients. The lawyers are sometimes hurting the public. They do not treat the clients right. They threaten the clients to withdraw from cases for no reason. Get involved with protecting the public. Don’t ignore what I see. Lawyers who don’t care about the clients. Don’t ignore that the whole public needs a fair and equitable court system. Not a system for the rich and powerful. You can make these changes for all litigants. Right now your court house you run is broken.

If you want to spend $100,000 taking a case seriously and supporting evidence and tried everything you could to not go to court,
Hope for a different judge. One that is not too busy politicizing and too much administrative work to deal with cases that need more thought. Too much
stuff, too much reading just. Impatient
He should just administrate and not be on the bench.
Not respecting the severity
of some cases before him is an injustice.
If you believe in the justice system think again.

He did not try at all for settlement
discussions. Purjury apparently didn't matter when commited by testimony.
Ruling had incorrect information from
transcripts. Forces people to appeal when he doesn't want to deal with the case.

Does not have patience. Hurries testimony, does not read case law, especially if it needs more than 10 minutes and is not an easy (get it off my desk immediately) . Ignores evidence at trial in his rulings.
Shameful attitude toward people seeking justice. You come to the court for more than just get this off my desk.

In Brooklyn Supreme Court dangerous criminals with legal and criminal immunities are filing frivolous cases which delivering them humongous amount of money as to endless the Bank! For decades money and other assets are fraudulently clamed from unsuspected individuals and Insurance Companies with permission and participation of Judge L.S. Knipel as administrative judge.

the 2016 and 2017 comments about not being a "hot" bench, not handling complex civil lit, and not taking time to support decisions is all on point. I don't know who he was when he was in another part or what he does with your simple negligence or med mal cases, but its abundantly clear who he serves now, and that is his own interests or those of the lawyers who can help serve his interests.

He does not read papers, if you ask to go on the record his clerk says he is not in and the reschedule you to come back, he cannot handle a motion with more than 3 items in it as he gets lost after the second one DO NOT make any motions that may ask for more then two things in relief, he is not patient and just waives his hand. If the idiot sat and listened to arguments and thought them through completely vs. 5 minutes on complex litigation I would not have three appeals pending right now and by the way, two of them unopposed and still waiting on three decisions for almost a year now and his law secretary never has the courtesy to return a call. Who are we kidding with this guy

Terrible. He refused to listen to legal arguments.
He did not understand that an interim order of the
court expires after the case is over. Refused
to address lack of standing on the part of a non-
existing plaintiff. He rushes through and refuses
to read papers or examine evidence. He is over
rated. He should be 4 or 5 at most.

Likes to Rush thru things. I am pro se and on two occassions allowed the defendants attorneys to argue motions without ever submitting opposition, he has allowed my medical information to stay on the public access system and did not even look at a motion for trial preference indicating I should stay on public assistance and live without dignity. Not as good as everyone says.
