Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY12060
Rating:1.0
Comments:
He was a terrible Supreme Court judge and an even worse Surrogate. His sucessor as Surrogate, is even worse. Uses his position to dole out political patranage assigments and awards overly gneroous fees. Should be removed as a JHO.

Judge Nahman, as of 2010, is no longer Surrogate.
Governor Paterson appointed him to the Supreme Court, Queens. He was then certificated twice to continue past the mandatory retirement age for two more years, next expiring Dec. 2014 (when he will be eligible for only one more extension).

Another loser judge who made it to the bench via politics

Comments:
A very temperamental, disrespectful individual who is showing signs of Alzheimer's. He should not be on the bench
