Then step right up here and see Judge MacKenzie!! dont worry about having to see her, she will hide in her chambers with the local lawyers and practice a modern Tammany Hall style of justice!! nothing like new century bias!! Get yours while she is still around!! Experience modern make bigotry at its finest!! Unless ofcourse your a mommy! (competent or not) Or if your bank account is big enough guaranteed win for you!! (oh, sorry that just goes for women, sorry gents your doomed) absolutely the most bias judge I ever had the displeaser of seeing, reading, experiencing. Clearly this judge fails to realize we won the revolutionary wa and gained freedom with laws to guide us, unless your you a male who thinks he has rights...

Incredibly rude and disrespectful to parties even when on witness stand, which is very intimidating, borderline bullying. Disregards protocol, evidence and law and does what she wants. She may have been ok at one time, but that time is long gone, she is too mean and jaded to offer fair decisions anymore. We should be very fearful of Judges like this as they are a hazard to our communities.

This judge is very unfair, decides cases before hearing testimony and evidence, favors some attorneys over other, and has no regard for pro se litigants. Her behavior in the court room is downright rude. Her courtroom is not an environment that supports truth, fact or the best interests of families. A woman with this amount of experience should not be so easily manipulated by unethical attorneys. She should know better than to take them at their word, yet on so many occasions accepted attorney rhetoric as fact even when testimony and evidence was presented to the contrary. She allowed situations to continue that blocked significant income to our family seriously jeopardizing our marital estate and the welfare of our children. She is bitter and angry and has no place making important decisions that significantly impact families in our communities.

This judge very simply does not follow the law, but her whim or more to the point whose side she favors politically. She jailed a man for not paying his support despite the law that says you can't do a contempt hearing without first exhausting all remedies...it is very clear...but not only did she jail him but simultaneously gave an alternative remedy after his 60 days in jail. Now the wife, a $100k wage earner does not follow the law..no valuation of her license, no use of the Ordered pension appraiser and the wife in complete violation of FEDERAL law called the IRS and changed the address of the husband's mail to her private post office....and the Judge DID NOTHING. Apparently, she doesn't like the husband, so in violation of the law, he goes to jail but when the wife, whose attorney clearly is within Judge Mackenzie's "radar" violates FEDERAL law or even the Order of the Court (remember husband went to court for allegedly violating an order) Judge Mackenzie says "so what...." This judge told the Referee to rule against this man, despite the evidence presented and in an ironic twist claimed the wife's witness, one CHRYSTAL "very credible." Problem is..this Chrystal now arrested for stealing money from this man at the very time the wisdom of the court found this girl "credible." Referee, Judge Mackenzie..finding a felon credible....why? fit what they wanted to do despite the law. Time for the press to take a good look at what this judge is doing....FEDERAL LAW HAS BEEN DELIBERATELY VIOLATED with the knowledge of Judge Mackenzie and she did nothing. Looking forward to hearing about her relocation perhaps to landlord tenant court at night in Riverhead. Be wary of this woman who abuses her power. And upon her election to this public post, like al judges are immune and are free to do whatever they want without reprecussions....and so she is.

As an Iraq Veteran, 911 survivor and Father found in a lengthily litigious custody battle. I found the Hon. Carol MacKenzie without a doubt was thorough, fair, and above all placed my children's best interest above all. No matter what the status quo or what other judges would or would not do this judge does the right thing. No one can ask for more than to be given the opportunity to be treated fairly. This judge is a leader not a follower and makes the tough decisions. We need more like the Hon. Carol MacKenzie on the bench.

Dishonorable MacKenzie is not a judge, Judges sift evidence, hear both sides, attempt to be fair and actually pay attention to what witnesses say, not what she wants them to have said. MacK should not only be forced to step down, she should be disbarred. A petty despot who hates women and cozies up to counsel who flatter her in chambers [and possibly out], her decisions are so one-sided that one would expect bribery but for the simple fact that this is unnecessary. MacK virtually announces winner and loser even before trial, and not all the legal firepower in the world [to say nothing of masses of evidence] will sway her from backing up her original prejudice with a Soviet style show trial. A disaster on the bench, MacKenzie is to justice what Stalin was to democracy. On top of this she has the manners of a fish wife. If lives weren't in the balance, especially those of children, Carol MacKenzie would be a one-woman comedy. Alas, she is --single-handedly-- the difference between comedy and tragedy. In a just world she would appear as plaintiff in her own divorce --before herself.

Only gave her a 1 because there is no ZERO. This judge is biased, bitter, woman-hating, and completely uninterested in justice. If she decides she doesn't like you, she will ignore anything might not support her prejudice. She will drive your attorney crazy, and she will leave you feeling totally abused. And beyond simple unfairness, she will look for any opportunity to outright hurt you. She is vicious. If you get this judge, do whatever you can to get reassigned - move to another county if you have to.

What a bias judge. She should be ashamed of herself. I wonder how she looks at her own eyes in the mirror. Goes to character every time. I wonder if she thinks of my child and how she ruined their life based on age old laws. She is so scared to lose her position and her pension. Sickens me. Politics until the end. Next time I am in your court room, DO NOT say to me "It is in the best interest of the child". Unless, of course , you are willing to take that child under your care. You get a second job, because one job is not enough to pay the bills. How dare you take away my parental time with my child. You reap what you sow, May God forgive you.

This judge was clearly biased and she was a poor judge of character. She did not question a witness who had an obvious financial incentive to make false statements. She was shown a picture, which was used as supporting evidence, but never looked closely enough to see that it was taken several days after the incident in question. Her conduct was in fact misconduct.

A very fair judge. Has proven her ability in Criminal Court, Family Court and now Supreme Court. Can preside anywhere and be excellent. Actually gets it.

This judge is not very judicial. She shows preference for one litigator or party over another, stretches the law to reach her personal conclusion, and is not even-handed. She is one of the worst judges I have appeared before.
