Judge Murphy is a terrible judge I was arrested on May 30 of 2012 on a stop and frisk for criminal possession. I. The first degree. The arresting officer stated in the arrest deposition that he observed me hiding a marijuana cigarette in my hand and that was his reason for stopping me and searching me at that arrest deposition he was under oath!! Afterwards the same officer again under oath at the grand jury testified that he observed me sprinkling a green leafy substance into a white piece of paper in the palm of my hand because when they voucheredtheevidence in the arrest there was no cigarette only a napkin containing negative matter testingpositivefor .6 grams of weed. Sincejudgemurphy stamped the indictment stating the district attorney had enough to indict me obviously if he reviewed the case he would have had to see the officer contradicting himself and committing perjury since in both his statements he was under oath so either the judge was incompetent or he knew the officer lied and did nothing about it the officer lied committed perjury and was never investigated reprimanded or charged or disciplined. So judge murphy if doing his job should have seen the officers testimony knew that he lied and knew that he did not see me with a marijuana cigarette or sprinkling weed into a piece of paper. He saw nothing except a guy coming out of methadone clinic and stopped me for no reason and lied to gain a conviction !!

Bright, honest and decisive - this is a brave judge who listens and has a heart. He is considered to be slightly defense-oriented, but I found him to be very even-handed. He has a serious demeanor on the bench but he has a wicked sense of humor and is approachable despite appearances. I think he likes lawyers and he lets us do our job. He has the courage of his convictions. He keeps his word and is not afraid of criticism. He was great to appear before.
