Comments:
It appears that he may have rated himself several times. He is not the worst judge by far but his tempermant can be lacking. He likes to hear himself speak but doesn't like to see those words in writing.

Civil Litigation - Private

Rating:8.0
Comments:
I've rated him as more pro plaintiff than defendant. But what is more important is that he doesn't tolerate improprieties, dirty practice and bullying. So if you are on either side, and your adversary is practicing in a sleazy manner, he will come down. He will write decisions which are well thought through, has a good law secretary, etc., but he actually is someone who has a strong sense of fairness. This may act in your favor or against you, but he has a strong sense of values and can be guided by them. Many good judges don't. That's who he is.

Does not allow case to go on the record during oral arguement. Shacks way or no way. Communist democrate trying to unionize judges. Decisions based on his thinkings not on the law of the land.

Justice Schack thinks he's a lot smarter than he really is. He is very intemperate. He decides which way he wants the case to come out and just dumps on the other side.

I DON'T KNOW WHO WROTE THE OTHER COMMENTS--BUT IT APPEARS THEY HAVE SUBMITTED RATINGS FOR THE WRONG JUDGE. HE'S AN ARROGANT PSEUDO-INTELLECTUAL POLITICAL HACK.
