The best! Fair and extremely competent. Queens DA'S office hated him because he did not let them run his courtroom like most of the other clowns in Queens County. Sad that he retired - the bench in Queens County Supreme is now pretty much horrible and controlled by the DA's office.

I was a Juror for K-23 from 2/3 - 2/10. I would very much say, I had a really great time being a Juror with Judge Blumenfeld. His excellent sense of humor, fair judgement, approachable aura defintely made a difference for our case. We defintely learned a lot from the case and Judge's guidance definitely helped in making the right Juror decision.

Judge Blumfeld, if you are able to read this,I want to thank you for the time spent and the Riccolas offered to my co-jurors those days. It was a humbling, flattering experience to be part of your court for a few days.

Will let you try your case. However he knows the law and is probably smarter then most lawyers who appear in front of him, so no BS. Will listen to arguments and has the guts to do what is right. Fair and outstanding judge.
