This judge has got to be the worst judge in the entire NYC. As a criminal justice major and an individual who has worked for multiple State and city agencies. I write this comment on behalf of all citizens of NYC. This judge has got to go!!! She has no concern for law abiding citizens. She just cares about clearing her calendar and moving forward. She has no care in the world. I will make sure to report her to the media. She does not belong in the court room!

All this Judge cares about is clearing her courtroom. Allowing a citizen to leave her court with hazardous conditions such as tampered with GAS LINES,open DOB class 1 violations is unacceptable. Furthermore telling them to take it to DHCR sense the building is stabilized is also UNACCEPTABLE. To compound the situation she disregarded an order form a previous Judge claiming properly repair wasn't clear enough. Our City deserves Judges that actually care about our citizens as well as the safety standards put in place. Its bad enough that the people have to enforce the Multiple Dwelling laws via housing court, but to allow slumlords to evade the laws via ridiculous excuses not only denies justice to the citizen but is also damaging to the very structural integrity of our city. This Judge shows up late then spends the next 45 minutes drinking coffee , reading the paper and texting. Is it any wonder WHY a large portion of our housing is below basic safety standards?

FANTASTIC PATIENT JUDGE

Criminal Defense Lawyer

Comment #: NY6690
Rating:1.0
Comments:
Eager to clear her calendar , she rushed a disabled man's case to trial, which eventually a warrant for eviction was issued by Thomas Fitzpatrick.
She has no compassion for death, and is miserable as a person after a nasty protracted divorce. Horrible that she still remains a judge, she must not be re-appointed as a Housing court Judge.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY5169
Rating:9.9
Comments:
She affords litigants their human dignity, and is always pleasant and courteous. She makes what is generally a trying experience (no pun intended) as pleasant as possible. She is a very civil judge for the civil courts, and a true example of how a judge should conduct their courtroom.
