Need retraining in the CPLR and in civility to lawyers.

A bullying judicial temperament coupled with an unwillingness to listen to or consider legal arguments for the other side.

Not "evenhanded" combined with poor judicial temperment.

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY5810
I am surprised at the other comments - I thought she was a good trial judge. A listener, and very thoughtful. She cut short my cross-examination of a doctor, and, after initially being miffed, I realized I had gone on way too long. I deserved it. D'oh!

Not a smart judge at all. She has no concept of the law.

Her courtroom staff are more thoughtful than she is.
