Civil Litigation - Private

I have had many motions before him in civil queens. I was surprised that he had the guts to write decisions from the bench. I think the prior review was not objective.

My firm had one of the first trials in front of him in civil. We lost but he did an excellent job hearing the evidence deciding objections and getting the trial done right. He is and will be an asset to the bench. He is one of the few judges who practiced law and know what it is to be on both sides of the bench.

He does not judge even handed at all. He seemed annoyed when he was hearing my case. He was so rude. I hated being in his presence and do not wish to ever see this dreadful poor excuse for a human being ever again. He's horrible. I must have gotten him on a bad day because he was a complete a hole to me.

I have practiced before him in civil court. He actually practiced law before becoming a judge. He had an excellent knowledge of the law and a excellent demeanor. He is practical and actually got the case settled. Also, on motions he's quick to sign off on orders from the bench resolving motions and making decisions. I think he will be a tremendous improvement for the bench in Queens County.

A lazy judge who will bend over backwards to not have to make a decision and violate all applicable rules of the court to find a way to keep cases alive where no merit exists. Its his job to read motions and make a decision which he chooses not to do. God help us if he ever gets into Supreme Court....

A judicial rarity: Professional, a world of patience and knowledgeable. Too bad all judges can't be like him!
