She wears her insecurity on her sleeve and lashes out and someone at least once every half hour. She is equally hated by defense counsel, prosecutors, court officers, and court staff. Has absolutely no business being a judge.

Recently appeared before this judge on a criminal case, supreme court kings county. She has the worst demeanor and temperament. She is condescending and arrogant. She is despised by almost every attorney sitting and waiting for their case to be called. She is not very bright either. But, what struck me most appalling about this child posing as a judge, was her absolute love for her position and that she actually thinks she is above everyone else.

Quinones needs to stay in criminal court, she has no idea what she's doing in the matrimonial part. She continuously rejects filings based on her emotional wims and personal vendettas (Maritza), no common sense, she is rude and does not accommodate litigants schedules, nothing judicious about her. Ridiculous!

She really has a terrible temperament. Is she trying out for a tv show? She has little patience...just observe her allocate pleas. Literally sounds like if you fast forwarded an audio tape. She could give less of a sh!t if the defendant understands what's going on. She's literally incomprensible...But she would rather save five seconds and speak super fast than ensure that the defendant is properly informed about a major decision affecting his life. It's pathetic. She also is pretty bad on evidence...often times to the defenses benefit so I don't care but I expected more.

Today I had a chance to observe this judge for the first time. Right away I could tell the kid was a rookie, even without knowing anything about her. Lacks confidence and ability; frequently shouts, raises her voice, and openly displays great irritation over minor annoyances. Has no sense of perspective, tries to overcompensate. In another walk of life we'd say she's neurotic. Reads - no, screams - aloud into the record the exact hour and minute a bench warrant is issued. Bullies defendants in front of her by yelling in a hysterical voice. She seems to think this is maintaining order in a courtroom...no old pro does things like that...things like asking the DA, who just offered a violation to a defendant, WHICH violation is being offered. I mean, seriously? There's a difference?

she has no clue as to how to run a courtroom, she is biased and has her own personal agenda that she takes out on anyone in her path. She is awful.

This judge needs to go back to school and try her best to pass the "common sense" class with at least a C. She definitely has her own personal agenda.

Has the ability to calm a person down, as well as compassion and an intuitive demeanor. So far so good. She is able to make decisions based on the matter at hand. I adore her intelligence.
