Comments:
Judge Dollard is obviously ill, and sleeps during the trial. Her command of the law and evidence is deficient. Has a defense orientation.

A lot of these comments seem to have been written by the same person - and that is not fair. Judge Dollard has ruled against me and for me (and I have a practice on the Island). She has never played favorites and executes her responsibilities without any taint of favoritism.
You may not always like her decisions, but they are always spot on! She follows the law and is always kind to litigants.

Comments:
Clearly favors local attorneys and will ignore CPLR and lack of professional courtesies to cater to them. She seemed to be familiar with the papers and knew the law on a basic personal jurisdiction issue, so that was a plus.

Comments:
Utterly unconcerned about fairness. If your adversary is a local, Dollar will without hesitation abandon any pretense that she possesses a judicial termperament. Yelled threatens become the norm coupled with a profound absence of anything approaching an understanding of the applicable legal standards. If your case involves anything more complex than the most simplistic factual or legal issues, abandon all hope.

She directed that I write a motion to address a minor discovery dispute. I wrote the motion, then showed up for the argument date. She asked me why I wrote a frivolous motion, and I responded that she ordered me to write it. She then said (almost verbatim), "counsel, I have a lot of cases, I can't be expected to remember the details of ever single one of them," then denied my motion without even reading it. Oh, I probably should have started with the fact that she called my opponent by his first name, and when I looked him up, it became clear that he was deeply ingrained in the local county politics and likely was responsible for her being elected. She even thanked him, in front of me, for help on a recent trial she was presiding over. Perfect illustration of political back scratching and all that's wrong with politics.

Did not read motion for summary judgment papers; held brief oral argument as to each of three movants; clearly reached wrong decision as to two of them.

she should have read all the paperwork i filed in the clerks office and she didnt and she judged me knowing i was in a situation and she just disappointed me as i would have settled for a decent amount yet her team couldnt communicate efficiently with me nevertheless at all...pro se plaintiff i was meaning you should be more patient and understanding and well being the paid and employed side of things her and her staff were horrible and should not be in a position like that showing favortism towards defendant and mother linda perhaps cause of their age and probably to get votes come this past election where i saw her name on the ballot you know i voted for the other woman and not her...

it was her responsibility to ensure justice was served and it was not , clearly because i did not have an attorney and I represented myself, clearly in my paperwork I made my case clear and she being the justice for the case I had in richmond supreme and then again in another matter and granting the defendants motions after how good i argued and fought every thing they said......she had her mind made up before even meeting me...and so I think its time for another judge to replace her she should retire...i rate her a 1 out of 10

she didnt read all my paperwork for richmond county supreme court index#100595/15 and probably dismissed my case based on the defendants motions (which were hilarious...they have nothing on me) and i saw her name as I voted for trump this year...so she prob knew linda voted and didnt expect a young blood like me would..well i voted for whoever she was running against and well...she had a duty of care to read all my paperword Objection and responses to Verified Answer...and SHE STILL SENT ME FOR EVALUAtiON when mother took out a MHW ....under false statements and perjury...and obtained it...how many times....my case should nt have been dismissed...the respondents motions are wack...my paperwork is all true and if she did read what she was suppose to she would have never sent me for evaluation....but i was sent home but still i want.should bill her for everyhour i waited in the psychiatric emergency room....the only one in the tri state area.....
