Judge Monteleone is acting with disregard to judicial jurisdiction and does not understand the laws. This Judge is deeply involved in assets extortions from American Elderly. He prohibits owners of targeted property medical treatment and it is leading to the death! This "Judge" illegally grants "guardian ad litem" to the young and very intelligent litigants to be represented by inadequate attorney who is incapable and does not know the real estate law for the purpose of the assets take over! What is the difference between this Judge and those who is arrested and serving jail for the same actions?!He should have stayed in civil court and not made acting supreme court judge.

Judge Monteleone lacks judicial temperament. He is not accommodating to lawyers. He does not understand the law and belittles lawyers in appearing in his court room. He fails to understand that lawyers make efforts to work things out. The court should encourage that and not frustrate those communications. He should have stayed in civil court and not made acting supreme court judge. It was a premature gesture by the decision makers. It is tough to comment on anyone, but I could not wait any longer. This took me long while before I decided to write this comment.

Judges are not perfect, but this judge Montelione is biased against women in general, and pregnant women in particular.

I was pregnant and involved in debt collection trial. I asked for continuance for 4 weeks as my doctor was trying to avoid a miscarriage and I was placed on bed rest. The regular general excused absence note from my high risk Obgyn was not enough for him, he denied the continuance and marked me non compliant and in “default.”

He let opposing attorney object to my medical note making inquiries into particulars of my gynaecological condition and stating that I purposefully delay his attorney fees hearing.

When similar thing happened in Florida, it caused a fury amongst legal community and a new law Fla. R. Jud. Admin. 2.570 came out as a result of this.

“Paul T Reid objecting to a continuance requested by opposing counsel, who said she needed time off for her pregnancy. She asked for eight weeks……Now he is answering for it..”

Paul Reid’s was suspended from his law firm Shook Hardy and then disciplined. Thanks to the wisdom of Palm Beach Circuit Judge Cymonie Rowe, pregnant attorney received her continuance.

In my case, Judicial Committee found no concrete evidence warranting judicial investigation. The attorney who opposed the adjournment seemed to be doing the “right thing” according to most and my complaint requesting a judicial review of this matter was purportedly not supposed to be filed.

On top of all Judge Montelione screamed at me when I used the bathroom for less then 10-12 minutes and I was forced to hold it in.

It took me a while to write this as I’m still crying when I write this and as I pray that no one else gets hurt by this judge.

Widely known in Kings County civil court among plaintiff and defense counsel as the most shamelessly biased, pro-insurance carrier judge on the bench. It's so bad that its a running joke among most no-fault attorneys who have been before him. To save everyone time, they should keep preprinted dismissal orders in the courtrooms with his signature stamp already on them, and tell the defense attorneys not to bother showing up since he argues on their behalf and does their job for them.

Just finished a damages only mv personal injury jury trial with him. He was a real pleasure to appear before. Exceedingly polite, civil to both sides, patient in allowing both sides to make their arguments and present their sides and listened carefully to them before rendering his well reasoned determinations promptly. Took copious trial notes from which he referred to when issues arose. Not only was he respectful and professional to the lawyers but polite, appreciative of the jury and gave clear jury instructions. A lawyer can not ask for more from a trial judge. A real gem in Civil Kings.
