Glad he has been voted out. Someone remarked about his prejudice and I would agree. He and his Clerk chastise movants and ignore law. They are unprofessional and caustic. Neither belongs on a court room. The new legislation regarding Judicial ethics hopefully won’t apply to just SCOTUS. All Jurists should have to disclose any gifts received on an annual basis. Many private sector industries require this of all employees. Objectivity is not just necessary in our highest courts, but even more crucial for a Judge who has the ability to cause someone’s death.

No reviews in 2020, 2022 or 2023. Where do his cases wind up? 3 out of 6 reviews written in the same month. All positive reviews have the same cadence. Written by the same person?

I tried a complex med mal case in front of Judge Kelley. He was very prepared, knew the law, compassionate to all the parties, witnesses and jurors. Worked hard to settle the case under very difficult circumstances and got a result that was fair to all. One of the best trial judges I have ever practiced in front of. An absolute pleasure.

Judge Kelley is a breath of fresh air. Polite, punctual, even-handed and tries to do the right thing by all involved. He recognizes the time and effort trial lawyers put in and is consistently respectful. He takes the time to read briefs even mid-trial and makes a legitimate effort to get it right. He lets you try your case and does not take offense when counsel disagrees and wants to make a record. Excellent trial Judge.

He basicallt broadcasts his imminent decision by his words and demeanor. I strongly feel that he has racial prejudice against blacks.

Hostile, unprepared, exhibits prejudice in that he's made up his mind even before he's even heard all arguments in court. There's nothing "Honorable about him.WT

I was on trial in front of Judge Kelley and his temperament, his attention to detail and methodical approach to his analysis of law and the issues that arise was very impressive. He was the one who guided the case to a resolution.

It is always a testament to a judge's ability when you can say it does not matter if you are a plaintiff or defendant, being assigned to Judge Kelley is a good thing for litigators.

(It certainly does not hurt matters that prior to becoming a Judge he actually practiced as a litigator.)
