Civil Litigation - Private

Comments:
Judge Malone is a good hardworking truly impartial judge. Good grasp of the law. I tried a case before her. I felt she did give quite a bit more deference during arguments to my older adversary. But those issues were all outside of the jury and ultimately her rulings were quite good and complied with the law. Judge Malone is analytical thoughtful and hardworking.

Very impatient, short tempered, entitled, arrogant. Violated my federally protected rights, and almost ruined my child's life without paying any attention to any details. All hearing were basically opposing counsel lying through their teeth and the "judge" yelling and screaming.
I am happy she is out of family court. She does not belong there. Ultimately, everything worked out for us, but I truly believe it is because she left family court and we were transferred to a different judge who actually took time to read and listen.
10 years later, I am still angry that Malone was ever in a position to have ANY say in my child's life. Awful.

Immature, childish, and unprofessional. Cliquish with opposing counsel. I felt like I was in high school. Testy and defensive. Takes all questions as personal challenges and loses her temper. Sorry to say, but she’s a disgrace. This is not the way to do this job. And she ruled in my client’s favor, so this is not sour grapes.

Without a doubt, the first matrimonial Judge I have witnessed practice in my more than 35 years in this field. She is incompetent, lazy, and rushes to judgment. She has been proven not to read goers submitted yet is willing to rule on those. She shows extreme favoritism based on the attorneys in her courtroom - those that she likes receive favorable treatment and rulings, and even legal fees. She does not recognize nor respect precedent, and if she is proven to have erred in a comment or written opinion or you dare to attempt to clarify a point so that she properly understnads it, you are marked for eternity. She obviously became a Supreme Court Judge with the help of her political connections who supported her - as she clearly has no business as a sitting Judge were it based on her merits. Unfortunately, she gets to sit for 14 years and there's nothing that can be done about it.

Poor, very one sided. Does not decide on her own. A member of the "boys club"
