Rules in your favor if she likes you or knows you. Clearly never actually practiced law and one calendar call will demonstrate why. Lack of empathy and the fact she worked for another failure for 8 years (Charlse Ramos-thankfully retired)- this is exactly why these knuckleheads can't get "back" to work during COVID as if they did before

Judge Masley truly lacks the adequate legal mind and sophistication to sit the commercial division bench, she is at best a traffic court judge. She interprets matters and renders opinion strictly based on hunches and feelings, she has lacks rational in her reasoning, and the law rarely matters when hearing a case, she comes to court with her mind made up, blocks any facts, renders decision on the party she favors the most. She was recently ruled on a case where her assignment was questionable but ended up getting a case on a retiring judge Charles Ramos whom she clerked for 8 years, Ramos ordered a shoddy settlement for a group he also favored and forced the rightful owners to give up valuable assets. SHE SHOULD HAVE RECUSED HERSELF, or at least inform the parties of her conflict of interest, she did neither. She rendered a decision that protected and sheltered Judge Ramos shoddy and illegal dealings

Justice Masley's lengthy tenure as Justice Ramos's chief law secretary has helped to prepare her and it shows. She's brighter than a vast majority of the attorneys who appear before her, but always willing to listen to a good faith argument. We need more like her.
