Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY11110
Rating:10.0
Comments:
Judge Meli is a real asset to the bench. He is hardworking, knows the law, and treats the litigants and attorneys with respect and courtesy. Whenever I appear in District Court, and he's on the bench, I'm happy. He applies the law in an evenhanded manner. I would love to see him in Supreme Court. I find it hard to believe that the earlier commenter is a criminal defense attorney. She/he seems more like a disgruntled small claims litigant.

Comments:
In my case at small claim court Hempstead NY I believe the application of objective principle not in his courtroom. Judge Meli expressed his opinion long before all evidence was presented.
