Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY9715
Rating:9.7
Comments:
I've had three cases with him where I had no problem with any of the decisions for or against me. The poster below makes a racist remark, but I looked him up and while Justice Mendez comes from another country, he got his LLM at NYU, which is not so shabby,

Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY9712
Rating:2.6
Comments:
Incompetent and vindictive. Judge Mendez's quietness on the bench does not reflect the reality of that part. Observed a pattern of taking a side early on in the litigation and issuing nonsensical punitive decisions that seem intended to inflict damage to the case. Sexist. Seems unduly impressed and biased towards Big Law partners. Reportedly does not have a US JD. Draw your conclusions.
