Extremely unprofessional. The other party produced blatantly false “messages” and “communications” saying they were from me and Danielle literally raised her voice and yelled at me. When it was realized that the messages were in fact fabricated by the other party, she did nothing about them lying in court and then gave them multiple chances to show up for court to determine custody (they didn’t show up to 5 court dates before she finally ruled in my favor). She is not good at her job and should have no influence over the lives of families.

A frauduelnt order of protection against my person was issued by Peterson which barred me from seeing my children ongoing 4 years. Said OOP was subsequebtly stolen from my home ...[Redacted by Ed.]

1.0. She is allowing an attorney law firm to violate every rule applicable to this case only because I am not a member of the bar. As a Self-Represented Litigant, I am being denied the right to be heard and the law firm defendant is allowed to delay the proceedings without justification and with prejudice towards me, the Plaintiff.

How is this person still allowed on the bench after not listening to a mother's (valid) concerns...which ultimately caused the death of a 2 year old?! Put child safety first Danielle (sorry you don't deserve to be called honorable, not when a little girl doesn't get her first day of school thanks to you & a mother's only child isn't here)! Very scared for childrens families who have to face her.

This judge needs to be removed! Her egregious conduct caused an innocent child to be murdered. What must happen before anyone does anything? Her callous attitude towards abuse victims is lacking any ethical morality. My presonal experience with her is that she laughed in my face while denying a restraining order and sent my child and myself back to the abuser.

Shame on this judge for putting parents rights before children's rights. A little girl could be alive and thriving with a healthy parent instead she's dead at the hands of an abuser.

This judge ignored the safety of a child in favor of an abusive father. He was told repeatedly that this man was dangerous, but instead, his bias toward women showed when he continued to give custody of a child to a parent that ultimately lead to her death. Blood is on his hands as much as the father's.
A judge is supposed to be fair and impartial. But he is clearly sexist even at the detriment of a small childs safety. Shame.

I am appalled at this woman's judgement. She is despicable. This judge should not be in this position. Her ignorant decisions are harmful and life threatening to children because she consistently supports abusers. If she is your judge, request a new one asap.

How can judges who court ordered visitations and custody - and child is murdered be allowed to remain on the bench? Is there any line in family court? I personally couldn't remain a judge when I didn't do my job, investigate enough and then a child is murdered... and she repeatedly sides with abusers... that's been her track record... any accountability in family court....?

Hon. Peterson is a Judge who does not recognize a litigation abuse! Judges like this should not practice in the Family Court.

My abusive ex spouse is harassing me for 10 years in total by filing multiple modifications and violations against me in the Family Court with Hon. Peterson.

Only during two years Hon. Peterson reviewed up to 10 different petitions from my abusive ex husband.

He is filling false accusations in order to gain a full custody, and it would allow him stop paying a child support.

He also filed up to 15 CPS reports against me ( unfounded).

There also multiple Orders of Protection with no cause to show requested by him with Hon. Peterson.

The Order of Protection is another way for an abuser to manipulate his victim, and most of the time those who are requesting this Order, dont need the protection. This Order used by the abusers to manipulate the system and take advantage out of this, plus to panish their ex spouses.

And after all nobody can stop an abuser! Shame on this Court System!

The Nassau County Family Court is unhealthy place where abusers are taking advantage out of the system, and turning the entire court hearing into a comedy show.Where the abusers are lying to Judge, and the Judge is buying it.

The Judge like Hon. Peterson who does not recognize a litigation abuse and sitting in the Court room just to cover herself, should not be practicing the law!

OK so my case was settled January 9, 2020 and I have gone back-and-forth in my mind when I was going to post my experience with Judge Danielle Peterson. Judge Danielle Peterson at every time I stood before her in court accuse me of parental alienation threaten to take my daughter away from me told me that my daughter would be at the age of 16 on heroin, having sex with older men and pregnant if she had no relationship with her father and I had to stand there and listen to this. She made me pay 50% of everything she ordered forensics, therapy, and all of my own legal fees and at the end of my case my daughters ex father signed over all rights to my husband allowing my husband to adopt my daughter after a year of fighting and dealing with this woman threatening to put me in jail when my daughter is a product of an affair And the father lost his house his wife and his kids when she found out so my daughter has been tortured by this man for 13 years of her life and judge Danielle Peterson just kept letting it go on my daughter was left in a hot truck in 90° New York weather with no food no bathroom and this was OK with Judge Peterson again I was threatened to reverse custody if I didn’t force my child who cried and cried not to go with him to be with him and at the end of the day $40,000 later in legal fees my daughter is free. But Judge Danielle Peterson should be working in target because that’s what type of woman she is she is destructive murdering woman that children under her care have been murdered and she has the audacity to not even speak to the parents after the child was murdered by the father that she forced the mother To give visitation to. My suggestion to the world as long is this judge sits Danielle Peterson In any court room And you become a sign to her as your first visit for custody I suggest you run and never ever ever step foot in that woman’s courtroom again request a new judge!!!

Hon Peterson does not have a best child interest in her mind. I have 70% of the custody what was awarded by Nassau County Supreme Court. The father of the child is an abuser. I have approved VAWA petition when he isolated me with 8 months old child, disconnected my cell phone and left without the food or money in the empty house to die with child. My neighbors were supporting me and buying food and all for child. After final divorce an abusive father still following me and filing every 3 months different petitions or complaints involving Family Court and police with CPS. The child looking at all of this is getting physical on me, she is copying her father behavior who is abusing the Court System and following me. I believe that his main reason to follow me during 9 years and writing complains is to gain a full custody, what he does not deserve, and dont pay the child support. Hon Peterson never even pulled Supreme Court case, she disrespect people and messing up their children lives. My child hit me but told father on me because in her ages the child is manipulating the parents. With Courts being involved between the parent and the child it is impossible to behave the child. The father is using each child complaint without any proofs and calling police. The child just used by abusive father as a tool. Hon Peterson has no any understanding on what is the best child interests. To stop an abusive father from harassing me and abusing during 9 years, I will have to give up my own child. Because the system put me in this situation. Because Nassau County Family court is allowing abusers to get Orders of Protection based on police reports without proofs, when there more harass and more manipulation. There is big Court System issue what turns people lives into a nightmare by helping an abusive father to gain ( not deserve) the custody,when the female child has no any future with an abuser and misogynists.

She is horrible, she is ordering my grandchilds bio father to have visitation, when my daughter gained full custody of child. Now that the POS is out of jail, she thinks its ok for him to see child because he wants to. No child support has ever been paid, he never calls to see if child is ok,(although ordered by judge). He is also ordered to go to a place where child and absent father can meet to visit while being supervised, has not even tried to go. Yet at every court hearing she gives him yet another chance?? Without even considering that he has failed to comply with court orders. He is a drug addict, has been arrested more that 3 times, that we know of. Has had all types of restraining orders against him from different women. BUT, this idiot judge still thinks is OK for him to see "his" child!!! Child has problems in school and is seeing two different therapist, yet this POS still gets chance after chance to see child if he wants!!! WTF!!! JUDGE needs to go and take care of the bottom feeders at Rykers Island. More her speed.

Judge Danielle Peterson is a biased Judge. She got where she is because of who her father is and she is riding on his coat tails. At least one child has died under her ruling and it was preventable and never should have happened. Unfortunately, With little Tommy Valva's passing, hopefully Judges like Danielle Peterson will be removed from the bench. A family court judge is supposed to help the families, not contribute to their untimely deaths. I hope she see's Kyra's face every single night when she goes to bed. She is just as guilty of murder as everyone else is that was involved. I hope she rots in hell. LISTEN TO THE MOTHERS!!!

Worst family court judge i have ever seen in my life. My personal opinion is that she is responsible for the death of Kyra Franchetti. She has zero training in domestic violence. She is told in open court of domestic violence situations and disreagards the facts. How on Gods earth she became a family court Judge and is moving to Supremem court is beyond comprehension. If you are in a custody battle and Danielle Peterson is your judge I would be requesting a new Judge. She clearly does not have the experience or training to be in charge of what happens to your child.

If Judges listened, really listened to domectic violence survivors and did not form an opinion on one hearing and make statements they have no right to make, it could prevent tragedy. I dont wish domestic violence on anyone, Judge Peterson:you have no idea what it is like to me in my shoes... i hope you never experience it, and if you do God help you and give a judge that is IMPARTIAL, unlike you.

Judge Peterson should be thrown off the bench. She is a self righteous, biased, horrible Judge. She does not go by what the law is but what her own personal opinion is. She makes comments that are unwarranted and feels she can say whatever she wants to anyone. This Judge needs to be removed from the bench before she puts more children in serious danger. Her cases and transcripts should all be reviewed by the Supreme Court.

This judge is biased against fathers. She believes everything mothers say regardless of how absurd, ridiculous or impossible. She listens to the mothers' accusations and doesn't even bother hearing the fathers' side of the story. Accusation = conviction in her court. She does nothing to stop mothers from abusing the system and blatantly lying. Men are dirt in her view and deserve this treatment. She puts on a good act pretending to care about children but only does what the mother wants.

I found from experience, this judge does not follow the guidelines of the law. I found her to be abusive of power and does not consider the best interest of the children, which I have proof of. If this judge was assigned to you I would recommend requesting a different judge.
