Civil Litigation - Private

Comment #: NY12460
Rating:7.8
Comments:
Good humored, and empathetic. Tends to tack to the defendants in collection and indebtedness lawsuits, but is not unsympathetic to creditors. In settlement discussions, she wants creditors to act in good faith and to come to the discussions in the spirit of not punishing pro se debtors for adverse life experiences. In other words, she wants creditors to compromise in order to receive monies and a stipulation of settlement. She rewards calm, reasonableness, good faith, and clarity. Best to know your case and its particulars.

Was completely unprepared for an emergency hearing. Asked for documents that were filed. Issued an order claiming documents were missing yet were filed. Her court attorney was unprepared as well.
